This is an actual chalkboard with chalk dust and all some chalk remainder marks with Chalkboard Paint on top. With several coats of Varnish, this becomes permanent. and does not smear. 
High gloss varnish is now available. Unless requested I will use matte varnish. Both look very nice. 
Chalk drawing may be approved via email before painting. 
The finished product is FRAMED.  The frame is handmade by me and can be painted or stained in any color. The most popular is the white distressed with black undertones. as shown in the first picture. 
Pastel colors look exceptional with the chalkboards. 
You may special order colors and different sizes if you wish. 
Please allow four weeks for delivery. 
These are made-to-order custom-made and made from scratch. The chalkboard is hand-painted with chalkboard paint and assembled upon order. Then hand lettered to your specifications. Please allow time for shipping we are on the east coast. UPS is four or five business days to the west.  Or you can pay extra for rush orders and rush shipping.
